  1. If both sets of parents are equalling sharing the costs of the wedding, what should the correct wording on the invitations be?

    • Hi Clare. It would ordinarily be adapted like this:

      Mr and Mrs Knightsbridge
      and
      Mr and Mrs Symthe
      request the pleasure of the company of
      ………………………
      at the marriage of their children
      etc etc etc….

      I will build some more examples for the post above to cover this point.

      If the bride and groom were also contributing then it is common to see
      Sarah and Michael
      together with their parents
      request the pleasure of the company of
      ………………………
      at their marriage etc etc etc.

      Again, I will expand this post to cover these options as well.
